New Walks! + Big Events: Crissy Field

We have some new walks!

• Noe Valley Tuesday at 1pm

• Forest Hill Friday at 10am (today’s link)

• Mission Spanish speaking group Tuesday at 2pm (I’m trying something new and moving off of Meetup for some walks)

Still looking for 1 more person to co-host a Cow Hollow group.

I’m also trying out a new calendar. Please try using this one and give me some feedback. I’m trying to start moving off of MeetUp so I’m integrating a couple of items in here.

Senior Fitness Day Walk at Crissy Field!

I’m planning a big Senior Fitness Day walk in Chrissy field on Thursday May 23 at 1pm. We’re going to have a slow group and a faster group you can sign up through either website (I’m still putting together details, but Sports Basement has said that they’ll give us some drinks, snacks, and coupons). Would anyone be willing to be a group leader for this walk? I’m anticipating there might be more people than I can manage.

Not quite a member, but some cool people that I’ve met who are working with older adults. I’ve met a couple of new startup guys that are working on preventive physical therapy products. They’re online programs that customize exercises to help people live their lives without pain. I’ve met two different startups working on this concept and they’ve all started with Pickleball!

If you play pickleball or are thinking about it, I’d suggest taking a look into it. The stats that I’ve seen are enough to make me want to warm up before playing. If you’re interested in checking this out, send a quick reply and I can connect you with these guys
